This is the year Del Wren lost his leg!

Abalone:
worked swing shift so he dove for abalone in the morning and sold the meat at work. Del used the money to buy skin diving equipment.

Del said the Kingfishers were bottom divers they hadn't started spearfishing yet!!!
This is Del's second suit, a 1/8" thickness.
Del's first suit was a 1/8" Edco suit. Del used it for a pattern, from them on the Kingfishers made their own wetsuits.
Del says their was no money, they were $1.25 per hour guys so every little bit helped, including money earned selling lobster.
A very proud with two beautiful lobster.
